What we collect

• Workout data (lifts, weights, reps, and history) is stored only on your device by default.
• If you choose to sign in for sync, we store your email address or sign-in provider identifier and your workout data. We never receive your password for Apple or Google sign-in.
• We do not use advertising identifiers, analytics SDKs, or third-party trackers, and we do not sell your data.

Trial and lifetime billing

The version with a free trial and lifetime access uses RevenueCat and your app store (currently Google Play) to process an anonymous customer identifier, purchase and receipt information, trial and purchase status, and technical information needed for billing. The app turns off RevenueCat's optional automatic collection of device identifiers. Your app store handles payment information. Workout history is not sent to RevenueCat. Resetting workout data or uninstalling does not restart a trial or erase store purchase records. Lifetime purchases have no recurring charge. Contact [email protected] about billing-data requests.

How it is used

We use this data to operate the app, display your training history, and, when you sign in, sync that history across your devices.

Where it is stored

Local-only data stays in app storage on your device. Synced data is stored using Supabase software, on servers operated by Thomistico LLC or by our hosting provider.

Sign-in providers

Apple or, when available, Google may authenticate you and share a limited identifier and email address. Their own privacy policies govern their handling of login information.

Android trial accounts

Android's seven-day trial uses a verified email account on servers operated by Thomistico LLC. We store your email address, a password hash, account and security records, and trial activation and expiry information. We do not store your plain-text password. Account and trial checks require an internet connection.

Deleting the trial account removes its account data; we retain a hash of the verified email and its first activation time to prevent a new trial after reinstalling or recreating the account. This hash is not used for advertising. Use Purchase options in Settings to sign out or delete the account. Deleting an account does not delete data saved locally on your device or erase records held by your app store.

Your choices

• Existing paid iOS access does not require an account; cloud sync and the Android free trial use accounts.
• Reset local workout data in Settings.
• Permanently delete your account and synced workout data using Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate.
• If you no longer have the app, use our account-deletion request.

Children

FiveByFive is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date above will change when we do.
