Symphonia Delete your account
Only the Android version of Symphonia uses an account, and only to verify the seven-day free trial. Your music, playlists and library stay on your own music server and are never stored in that account.
iPhone and iPad
Symphonia creates no account on iOS. Purchases and the free trial go through Apple, and our purchase processor, RevenueCat, holds only an anonymous app user ID. There is no Symphonia account to delete. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Delete in the app (Android)
Open Settings → Account → Symphonia Pro → Purchase options. In the trial account section, tap Delete account and confirm. The account is deleted immediately.
Request deletion without the app
Email [email protected] from the address you used for your Symphonia trial account, with the subject “Symphonia account deletion request.” We may ask you to confirm that you own the address, then delete the account within seven days.
What is deleted
- Your trial account: email address, password hash, and account and security records.
What is kept, and why
To prevent a new free trial after reinstalling or recreating an account, we keep a one-way hash of the verified email address and the time its trial first started. It is not used for advertising. Google Play keeps store purchase records under its own policies; deleting the account does not refund or remove a lifetime purchase.
Your music-server login
Your music-server address, username and sign-in token are stored only on your device and are never sent to us, so deleting the trial account does not affect them. To remove them, open Settings → Account → Server connection and tap Disconnect, or uninstall the app. Your account on the music server itself is controlled by whoever runs that server.
